Ultra Controlo has officially entered Pakistan with the sale of two ULTRAOX medical oxygen generation systems to the Trauma Center & Emergency Department and its new extension in Quetta, Balochistan. While these units are not yet operational, their purchase marks a historic moment—the first Ultra Controlo plants sold in Pakistan.
This milestone was made possible thanks to the exceptional work of Radiant Medical, our local partner in Pakistan, who successfully navigated the challenges of securing and supplying this project. Their commitment reflects a growing demand for high-quality, autonomous oxygen systems in regions where hospital infrastructure often lacks reliable oxygen delivery.
Pakistan continues to face critical oxygen supply challenges, particularly in remote provinces like Balochistan.During recent years—including the COVID-19 pandemic—health systems have been severely strained by limited cylinder logistics, supply-chain fragility, and rising oxygen demand. As a result, hospitals increasingly require sustainable solutions they can control locally.
By bringing the ULTRAOX system into the country, we are not only introducing a new standard in Portuguese medical engineering—we are contributing to a broader effort: strengthening healthcare systems where they need it most.
